I purchased this great product over the internet 4 years ago. I have had many successful fishing trips since, with a large part of our success going to the Minnowmate. We fish with live bait ( minnows ), and it's so important to keep your minnows as lively as possible. We've been on as long as 6 day trips, with minnows still alive and kicking on the final day. This was crucial that year since there were no minnows available anywhere near the camp, due to a poor winter. It was the best 95$ I have spent. It is a wonderful product!

The Minnowmate is great! It is so easy to transport. I have a local bait shop who always has great minnows. The Minnowmate allows me to buy them locally, and then take them where ever I'm headed. ( Usually up to Nipissing ). I am always surprised how many minnows it will hold, and keep alive. I have bought as many as 20 dozen for the May 24 weekend. I would highly recommend this product to any live bait fisherman!

I have been going up to Nipissing now for 9 years for the opening of Walleye season. We used to buy about 4 dozen large minnows on the first night, get them in two bags with oxygen, and keep them in the fridge.Of course, by morning they were dead, and we would use these lifeless, stinky minnows for the next two days, with little success. It was all we knew to do - until last year! With my new Minnowmate, I was able to get 10 dozen really nice sized minnows for the 3 day trip. I can't tell you the difference using fresh, lively bait. We all caught nice fish for a change, and there were no worries about when we'd run out of bait, or when we'd get sick of using dead bait. The fishing was much improved, and so was our trip all around. Thanks for a great product!

It's the best money I've spent on my fishing supplies. I would regulary lose 2-3 dozen every trip. We simply got used to it. Now I'm surprised when 3 or 4 minnows die on a 3 day trip. And our last trip, the batteries lasted 69 hours. The fishing camp we went to now want to have them for all their rental boats, they were so impressed.(I want commission) There are cheaper options, but this is a well thought out, quality, hand made unit that will hopefully last me 10 years. It has already paid for itself, and I'm sure I have been more sucessful too. My last bait holder was noisy, smaller, and it only worked for 1/2 a season. There is no comparison! You have a great idea here.
